Check access and storage, and distinguish media deletion from irreversible project deletion

Check access and storage, and distinguish media deletion from irreversible project deletion

Who can access a project

A project is available in its owner’s account unless the owner explicitly shares email access or a general viewing link. Review both kinds of access before sending confidential material

Delete media only

  • Find the project and open additional actions
  • Choose the media-file deletion action
  • Read and confirm the warning
  • The recording is removed, but the project and transcript remain. Playback and a rerun using that recording are no longer possible

Delete the whole project

  • Open the project’s additional actions
  • Choose project deletion
  • Verify the project and confirm
  • This removes the complete project and its sharing permissions and cannot be restored

Storage and shared projects

The dashboard shows storage used; media usually accounts for most of it. Removing a project shared with you only removes it from your list, leaving the owner’s source. General viewing links should reach only intended people. See the privacy policy for retention, processing and user rights
